Riding Backwards

When you walk backwards instead of the "right" way around, you'll find that hindsight has a whole new meaning... you'll see what you saw before, but with new eyes... because distance in time and space will have changed that most important thing in our experience of the world... perspective...

Those Were the Days

In a land of soft-spoken, humble people, flimsy defenses guard possessions. Shadowy declarations of ownership. Faith in humanity overriding those other acquired notions of fear, of ownership and loss. A land of simple people. Of bonds that only humanity can create. Of a trust borne of that once bountiful thing - innocence.

This and That

Gender and anatomy are two very different things. It is conditioning that blurs the line between the two and forces upon them a deluge of roles.

Hypocrisy and the Human Race

If hypocrisy were a nationality, humanity would stand united.

The Downside of Hope

Hope isn't such a good thing after all. It eats away on the insides. Because with hope comes indefinite waiting. Hope keeps something - a need, a desire, a dream - only barely alive. Not quite dead, but not quite alive either. So like I said, not such a good thing after all.
So you find yourself in this inexplicable limbo. Hanging by that one thread - hope. Sometimes you wish it would snap, just so you'd know where you stand. And then there it is again, hope... and you're in limbo... again.
